Susuz Han: a Seljuk masterpiece of exquisite stonework
Sometimes all it takes is to catch a glimpse of something to recognize it will be special. If you find yourself driving on the Antalya-Burdur road, that something special could be Susuz Han. You may be unaware of it, but today’s D650 largely overlaps with an old caravan road connecting the Seljuk caravanserais between current-day Antalya and Burdur. Almost halfway between the two cities lies Susuz, a quiet village home to Susuz Caravanserai, a place worth your time if you’re fascinated by Seljuk art and architecture.
